Panorama Lounge

The very latest ICE 3 carriages (servicing the high-speed Cologne to Frankfurt route) offer passengers in first and second class the opportunity to watch the train driver at work. The special Panorama Lounge compartment is separated from the driver’s cab by a glass wall, enabling travellers to get a bird’s eye view of the track ahead and landscape speeding by.

DB first class lounges

In Cologne, Frankfurt and Frankfurt Airport, passengers with first class ICE tickets are welcome to relax or work in the DB (German National Railways) lounges. Wallraf-Richartz Museum, Cologne: 2nd ticket half price

From now to 30 December 2012, the Wallraf-Richartz Museum in Cologne is showing the “1912 – Mission Moderne” exhibition. This is a spectacular retrospective of the so-called “Sonderbund Exhibition”, the largest exhibition of modern art in Germany, which took place precisely 100 years ago.

"1912 – Mission Moderne” shows what the pioneering “Sonderbund Exhibition” was like and why it became the model for the “Armory Show” in New York and the first Documenta in Kassel. With your Europa-Spezial ticket you pay only 18 euros for 2 people for entrance to the Wallraf-Richartz Museum in Cologne and the “1912 – Mission Moderne” exhibition (normal price: 12 euros per person). The Europa-Spezial ticket entitles you to a discount up to 3 days after the indicated travel day. This offer is valid until 30 December 2012, 1 discount per ticket.
